A fruit and vegetable seller who sets up his modest stall in the back of his car each week in a suburb of Madina.
Every Friday, in a vibrant neighborhood of Madina, a local entrepreneur exhibits a remarkable example of dedication and servitude to his family. This brother, a fruit and vegetable seller, sets up his stall directly from his car outside our local mosque, two hours before each Jumah prayer. The scene is heartwarming as a couple of his young children often accompany him, playing nearby and keeping their father company throughout the time he is here.
Following the Jumah prayer, worshippers are greeted by the sight of his colourful and fresh produce. This not only offers them the convenience of shopping right after their prayers but also brings to life the meanings referenced in the Quranic verse from Surah al-Jumah. In this light, his humble stall serves as a reminder of the simplicity and beauty of earning one's sustenance through honest and hard work. We pray that Allah Most High grants him abundant baraka in his rizq. Amin.
