Masuma Begum, Canada

This is my first time visiting the Haramain.  We went from Canada to Bangladesh to drop off the children to my brother then flew out to Makka for hajj and now are here in Madina.

I have wanted to come for so many years.  Last year we made the plan for hajj but my husband really didn’t want to come with a mortgage and loans hanging over our heads, so we paid it all off, alhamdulilah and came this year.

The first time seeing the Ka’ba is something I cant explain in words.  I thought,  ‘Allah loves me.  That’s why He has bought me here’.  I want to return with the children on Umrah now.

The days of Hajj were great.  I was scared that it might be difficult at first, but everything was fine.  Before you come you think,  ‘I’ll make hajj once in my lifetime and that’s it’, but once you’ve visited these places, you just want to come again and again!
