Suliman Mohamed Suliman Hafiz | Resident, Madina

I have been working as a supervisor and tour guide at the Dar Al Madina Museum for the past five years.

I was born and raised in Madina al-Munawwara and have lived here all my life, alhamdulilah.

My father migrated from Sudan to Madina in 1969 at the age of 20; my mother came to Madina when she was 9 years old from Sudan. They later met, married and then settled in Madina.

Our father, who we loving call Yaba, raised us on the love of the Beloved of Allah ﷺ. As people came and returned back to their lands, for Yaba Madina would be his home and the land in which he raised his children.

The city of Madina is our oxygen and we are nourished by the air that is our Master Al Mustafa ﷺ.
